Information for Presenters
Dear conference presenters,
On top of the information sent to all attendees, please take into consideration the following instructions for presenters.
1. Paper and Teacher Talk Session chairing
Paper sessions and teacher talk sessions are composed of several presentations and their related discussions. The first name in the list is in charge of chairing the session, keeping time and chairing the discussion moments. In the case of the first presenter being absent, the second name in the list in the conference detailed program will chair the session. The timing is as follows:
- Paper session: 10 minutes presentation and 5 minutes discussion following each paper.
- Teacher talk: 10 minutes presentation for each teacher talk and the remaining time for attendee-presenter discussion.
See the Presentation Types on the conference website for more details.
2. Symposium
As indicated in the Presentation Types, the 50-minute session will include a 5-minute summary of each paper, 15-minute comments by the discussant, and 20 minutes Q&A with attendees.
3. Posters
At the designated time in the conference detailed program, poster authors should join their respective breakout rooms, be ready to share their screen with their poster, and wait for visitors to come and ask questions about their poster.
4. Interactive Workshop
As indicated in the Presentation Types, audience members have an active role for at least ⅔ of the 50-minute session time. Proposers will prepare all the material for the participants’ activity.
5. Topic-Based Discussion Cafe
As indicated in the Presentation Types, the proposer will facilitate the announced broader topic. For that, she/he should prepare some opening questions.
