Call for Papers
With the theme Creating Lesson Study in Sustaining Community and Providing Quality Education, WALS 2022 Kuala Lumpur offers 12 sub-themes:
- Lesson and Learning Studies in initial teacher training
- Lesson and Learning Studies and teacher professional development
- Lesson and Learning Studies and the facilitator
- Leadership, management and policy aspects of sustainable Lesson and Learning Studies
- Developing Professional Learning Communities: models and practices
- Lesson or Learning Studies in different cultural, subject, and learning contexts (primary and secondary schools)
- Research methodology and theoretical underpinnings of Lesson and Learning Studies
- Creating knowledge in practice: Lesson and Learning Studies in Pre-schools
- Creating knowledge in practice: Lesson and Learning Studies in Special Education
- Creating knowledge in practice: Lesson and Learning Studies in Higher Education
- Creating knowledge in practice: Lesson and Learning Studies in STEM Education
- Creating knowledge in practice: A sustaining effort at creating a life-long learning experience
A variety of session types are designed to excite and garner interest by teachers, school administrators and education researchers on different levels of education. We welcome proposal submissions for:
(a) Paper presentation
(b) Poster presentation
(c) Symposium
We invite you and/or your team to submit an abstract in a session type that matches your research and/or practice. Presenters have to attend the conference physically. Click “Submission Guidelines” to see full details about session types.
