An educated psychiatrist with a specialization in Transactional Analysis in psychotherapy, an author of “Doodles for Life,” a book designed to guide teachers in developing emotional intelligence in children, and “Awaiting Golden Age,” a book exploring yoga, relaxation, and the deeper meanings of life. He conducted interviews with world leaders on children’s education for the “Future of School And Or Happiness” initiative. He served as a Vilnius Council Member, contributing his expertise to the Committee on Education and Culture.

A world famous artist, author and TV personality with a mission to teach the world to draw.  His TV shows have been aired in more than a hundred countries worldwide including China, India, the UK and USA.  During his career he has performed live talks and art shows internationally on the topics of creativity, imagination and visual intelligence.

The author of numerous publications on the international translation of lesson study. Her work has sought to define the key components of Japanese lesson study, and to identify whether international translations seek or should seek fidelity to the Japanese model. She has more recently been exploring approaches to sustaining lesson study as an approach to in-service teacher professional development in schools. Sarah is an expert in school leader and teacher development, bridging the research and practice divide as a headteacher of an experimental school, expert in professional development and school improvement, and published academic author.

A postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Potsdam in Germany. Her research focuses on models of continuous professional development, how teachers can maximize their learning in Lesson Study, and challenges and trends in conducting educational research in complex environments. Currently, she is the project manager of Germany’s largest Lesson Study project under the nation-wide initiative “Leistung macht Schule” (“Excellence in School Education”). Together with her team, she is investigating the implementation and scaling up of Lesson Study in German schools.

Serves as a Research Fellow at Windesheim University in the Netherlands. In this role, she actively contributes to the Lesson Study in Initial Teacher Education project, emphasising advancements in teacher education. During her studies in Japan, she spent a considerable amount of time observing lessons in schools and working with schoolteachers and researchers in Lesson Study and Lesson Analysis. She continues her collaboration with Japanese scholars in her role as a special joint research fellow at the International Centre for Lesson Studies at Nagoya University, Japan.
